Stampin' Up! Boxes and Bags 2018 Blog Hop

Welcome to the Crafty Cupcakes Team Stampin' Up! Blog Hop for March 2018. Each month members of the Team take part in our Team Blog Hop to share with you our cards and projects made using the fabulous Stampin' Up! products. You are currently visiting my blog, Wendy Porter, and below you will see the full list of everyone taking part. To move to the next blog just click the name after mine in the list. This month our theme is Boxes and Bags.

Yippee! its a great chance to get out the Envelope Punch Board.  I think this is my second most favourite tool in my craft room.... used to be first until I got my brilliant Stamparatus, our stamp positioning tool )).    I love this little thing, yes its called the Envelope Punch Board, because that is what is was designed to be used for, but some very clever folks have worked out how to use it to take the pain out of making boxes of all sizes too.
Absolutely brilliant, now you can rustle up a box in no time at all.

Here is my project for this month.  As you can see not just a box, but an envelope and card too, after all if you are giving a pressie you need a card too ))

Thank you for visiting my blog today.

The box was made from an 8" x 8" piece of Berry Burst cardstock and punched and scored at 3" and 5" all round.  Then I just cut some tabs and folded and glued the sides - hey presto a box!
The Designer Series paper I used is from the Naturally Ecclectic pack and the tags are made using the 'A Good Day' stamp set and two punches, one with a pretty scallop edge.

Everything I made today, has used the Envelope Punch Board (EPB) in some way.
The corners of the 3" x 3" notecard have been rounded with the EPB.
I even used the EPB to punch an indentation on the belly band so the ribbon stays nicely in place.
Of course the envelope was made with this super board.  This was a piece of DSP that measured
5 1/4" x 5 1/4" and then punched and scored at 2 5/8" all round.  The really good thing is that the board has lots of measurements to make envelopes to fit small cards to really big ones, so you are going to find one that suits your card.

Look see what I fitted into this box -  6 yummy Ferrero Rocher chocs.  The perfect way to say thank you to someone, don't you think?

The Team have worked really hard on our Blog Hop to bring you a variety of creativity and inspiration. Make sure you click the next name on the list to carry on through the Hop.
