Stamp n Sip Online - Using designer series paper to make cards

 Hello everyone

Here are 7 cards made at a recent Faceook Live for Stamp n Sip Online.

All of these were made from a single 12" x 12" sheet of designer series paper.

To start with the designer series paper was cut to 5-1/2" x 12",  so giving 2 pieces at this size plus a strip 1" x 12".

Then cut each of these strips at 3-3/4" to make pieces that measure 5-1/2" x 3-3/4", so giving 6 pieces in all.

For all the card bases are A4 Whisper White Thick card.  To create score at 5-7/8" on long side.

Rotate card so short side is uppermost and cut at 4-1/8"

Fold and burnish to make card base.

The piece of designer series paper I used was from the Playful Pets 12" x 12" pack.

Card 1

Adhere a 5-5/8" x 3-7/8" coloured card to card base.

Adhere 5-1/2" x 3-3/4" to card front.

Stamp a sentiment onto a die cut shapeand adhere to Cinamon Cider punched shape, then adhere to card front

Tie a bow from Linen Thread and attach to card.  

Decorate with Pearls

Card 2

Adhere a 5-5/8" x 3-7/8" coloured card piece to card base.

Cut 5-1/2" x 3-3/4" designer series paper from corner to corner, then adhere to card front.

Stamp a sentiment onto a die cut shape and adhere to Flirty Flamigo punched shape, the adhere to card front

Tie a bow from Linen Thread and attach to card.  

Decorate with Pearls

Card 3

Adhere a 5-5/8" x 3-7/8" coloured card piece to card base.

Cut designer series paper piece: on long side cut at 2-3/4" rotate and cut on short side at 1-7/8"

Adhere all 4 pieces to card front.

Stamp a sentiment onto a die cut shape and adhere to Basic Black punched shape, then adhere to card front

Decorate with Pearls

Card 4

Adhere a 5-7/8" x 2-1/2" coloured card strip across the centre of the card base.

Cut designer series paper piece on long side 1-3/8" strips.  Adhere these 4 pieces to card front.

Stamp a sentiment onto die cut shape and the adhere to card front

Tie a bow from Linen Thread and attach to card.  

Decorate with Pearls

Card 5

Adhere a 5-5/8" x 3-7/8" coloured card piece to card base.

Cut designer series paper piece to 1-1/4" strips and adhere these 3 pieces to card front.

Wrap Linen Thread around card piece.

Stamp a sentiment onto die cut shape and adhere to card front across the linen thread.

Decorate with Pearls

Card 6

Adhere a 5-5/8" x 3-7/8"coloured card piece to card base.

Cut designer series paper piece at 1-5/8" and attach both pieces to the card front.

Wrap ribbon around card front.  Attach a bow.

Stamp a sentiment onto die cut shape and adhere to card front

Decorate with Pearls

Card 7

Cut left over designer series paper pieces:

4 pieces 1" x 3" and 1 piece 5-1/2" x 3/4"

Attach to card front... I added them at angles for a bit of interest.

Stamp a sentiment onto die cut shape, adhere to punched shape.

Add some ribbon to back of die cut shape, then adhere to card front

Decorate with Pearls
