A few days ago, I made a money holder.
Today, I have a gift card holder for you.
Once again, I used papers from the Ever Eden speciality designer series paper collection.
Am just loving all the lovely shades of green and those flecks of gold foil on one side of the sheets.
This gift card holder is attached to the front of an A6 card, so you can give a gift card and card all in one.
The gift card part is held closed with a ribbon bow.
Just open the bow and on the inside slip in a gift card and add your sentiment to your card and its all ready to send.
These are really easy to make and they are a great way to use designer series paper.
I've made lots ready for next years craft fairs.
To make:
Card base:
Coloured card: A4 short x 5-7/8" scored at 4-1/8"
Gift card holder:
Coloured card: 8-1/4" x 4-1/2" scored at 2-3/4", 5-1/2"
Designer series paper: 2-5/8" x 4-3/8" (3 pieces)
Choose different pieces as you wish
To make:
Trim a sliver off the right hand edge - this makes folding and glueing the right hand flap in place easier
Cut from 2nd vertical score line to bottom right hand corner
Fold and burnish card
Attach designer series paper to outside face and 2 inside faces
Fold over and add a line of glue to the bottom edge of the diagonal cut part
Tie the ribbon around money holder
Glue to the front of the card
Happy Crafting!
